Attention SF Bay Area readers! A couple of weeks ago I posted about a great new spin on Aesop’s Fables by South African author Beverley Naidoo. This vibrant picture book has been getting some great reviews (including a star from Kirkus Reviews). Naidoo will be in the San Francisco area next week and here is a list of the events that she will be attending or participating in:

Tuesday 10/25: San Francisco High School Presentations
10am, George Washington High School; San Francisco, CA
1pm, Mission High School; San Francisco, CA
**Supported/Arranged by the San Francisco Public Library, books being sold by Books Inc.

Thursday 10/27: 1-3pm; Stanford University Center for African Studies
Conversation/Lecture and book signing to follow at the Stanford University bookstore

Some of Ms. Naidoo’s books include Aesop’s Fables (978-1-84780-007-7), S is for South Africa (978-1-84780-018-3) and The Great Tug of War (978-1-84507-055-7)
