The Business Bookshelf You’ve Always Wanted

 

For Spring 2013,  Harvard Business Review Press presents yet another list of remarkable books devoted to helping you get the most from yourself and your management practices. It’s reassuring that every title in their program is measured against the high standards of the Harvard Business School and targeted towards anyone, in whatever career, looking to gain some insight into their business practices.  These really are books for the trade that even someone like Lit-major-yours-truly can read and enjoy:

In Reinventing You, strategy and communication consultant Dorie Clark provides a step-by-step guide to help you assess, build, and reinvent your personal brand. While in Sidetracked, psychologist and Harvard Business School professor Francesca Gino will help you better understand the nuances of your decisions and the influences that could lead you astray from your intended goals.

And if you’re wondering about how best to keep on top of the latest business trends, why not sign up for HBR’s Business Bookshelf newsletter?  It won’t flood your inbox.  Instead, you’ll receive occasional snapshots of the latest titles to hit the shelves of your favorite bookstores. Last week’s edition spotlighted the international bestseller Leading Change and called out available promotions. 

You might have a hard time trying to keep your mouse away from the buy buttons.  But I can promise it’ll be the right business decision if you don’t.
