Four Consortium Titles Nominated for Eisner Awards!

Several of our publishers’ titles and authors have been nominated for the 2016 Eisner Awards, considered the “Oscars” of the comic book industry. Written and Drawn by Henrietta, created by Liniers and published by TOON Books, is competing in the Best Publication for Early Readers category, and Kevin McCloskey’s lettering in We Dig Worms!, also published by TOON Books, is nominated for Best Lettering. Nicolas André, Sam Arthur, Alex Spiro, and Camille Pichon are nominated for Best Publication Design for their work creating Beyond the Surface. Eventually Everything Connects designers Loris Lora, Sam Arthur, Alex Spiro, and Camille Pichon are nominated in the same category. Both titles are published by Nobrow Press. Nominees for the awards, sponsored by Comic-Con International, are chosen by a blue-ribbon panel of judges and highlight the wide range of material being published in comics and graphic novel form today. Winners will be announced at Comic-Con International on July 22. Best of luck to all!
