Charles Dickens is (almost) 200!

Charles Dickens is (almost) 200!

With about a month until the 200th birthday of Charles Dickens, a lot of children’s books about the literary legend are making their way to the hands of readers. The New York Times recently wrote this article about some of the great new books that are coming out about Mr. Dickens. They even featured one of Frances Lincoln’s new titles, Charles Dickens: Scenes From an Extraordinary Life by Mick Manning and Brita Granstrom calling it “a wonderful, enduring introduction for young readers.”┬áThis is a fun approach at a biographical book with it’s comic book layout providing fun facts about how Dickens wrote.

And, if you are a fan of this duo, both Mick Manning and Brita Granstrom will be attending the ALA Midwinter Conference later this month in Dallas, TX! Stay tuned for signing times!
